Most of the time we can continue to function day-to-day whilst facing many of the challenges that life brings, but when our coping strategies no longer enable us to do this, we can feel overwhelmed. Counselling offers you the time and space to explore what is impacting on your wellbeing, providing a safe space where your thoughts and feelings are respected, listened to, and witnessed without judgement. This can help you to find your own way through. You might decide to change some things in your life, or, through increased understanding and self-awareness, you might decide that nothing needs changing, other than to reframe and accept where you currently are to enable you to heal and get on with your life.
